2 w0 subs vs. 1 w6 sub
I am debating on selling my jl audio w0 subs. i have 2 twelves and i want more bass. I am thinking about getting a 12 inch w6 woofer and putting it in a big vented box. I will be powering the w6 with a j2 500 watt amp, which i am currently using with my w0's. what i am debating on is if ill be gaining anything by buying a better and more powerful woofer, while im loosing cone area inside my trunk?

According to the specs it should be about the same, You probably should have a more powerful amp for the w6 12" and it will probably be louder than. But I herd a few w6 and I wasnt impressed with them at all, I thought it was one of JLs worst subs made IMO.
Thats why I went with 1 13.5W7 back then over 2 13.5w6. Why not spend a tad more and get the 10w7 or bigger I think then you will be more than impressed then.

second this, I have the 10" w7 installed, VERY happy with it. Can certainly feel it in the cabin, and through the front and back seats
