Default Wizaired intake

Is there a better intake duct preferably a metal tube that could be used with the box rather than the duct we get?... My intake duct is all sorts of split up and seems to be opening up at the splits.

Have you contacted ZZP with your issue? They might send you a new duct.

I would contact ZZP... Did you have trouble installing it or something to where you may have damaged it?

There were no problems installing. Its just stripping apart straight up the tubing it seems as if it wasnt made to handle the heat of an engine. And the strips that are coming up are in random spots. I've had this intake I believe since March

I would try to just send them an email asking what you can do and if they warranty it at all. I know when the plexi cracked on someone, they got a new one sent right to them.

I was able to modify the stock intake tubing and actually seemed to get better throttle response and an added benefit, it doesnt smell like gas outside my car anymore. Maybe because the Iat sensor is getting a true air temp measure rather than what the air inside the box is?
