The install is easy, just a few bolts to remove. I think the hardest part was putting the ducting onto the throttle body, it's a tight fit.

It will be louder, but as far as I know it's just a sucking air noise, then again I have a NA car.

 

i was really ready to buy the K&N intake as well, im not really a fan of that huge box under the hood, especially when its time to go for car shows...but if you have experienced these problems, than i will steer clear of that K&N system. I know a bunch of people in the GP community that havent had that problem with the K&N, which is why I was ready to buy it. Good thing i didnt, i guess...lol
