Default U-Bend = history

I finally got around to getting the u-bend delete done last weekend. I can't say I really noticed any difference at first but after a few days it seems to me like it's got some more pep in it's step. I let my g/f take it one day cause her car was in the shop, and later that day when we were going somewhere I had mentioned to her how the car feels a little bit stronger on take-off and she said "I know, today when I had the car I barely pressed the pedal and it took off."

Maybe it's our imagination, but the car feels better on acceleration and even sounds like the exhaust note is a little bit deeper as well. Either way, it's a cheap mod that has put a smile on my face.

Talk about cheap mods, I disassembled the airbox today to look for the rubber grommet to remove and there was none there. It probably doesn't pertain to the LTZ. There was just a long plastic intake tube.

I did the whole exhaust at the same time so I don't know specifically, but once you uncork the exhaust and intake it sure is alot more fun to drive.
