If we are on the same page with the mods, then that would be too cool. If not then we will more than likely end up copying the others mod when we return home.

Any progress reports on your Monte or have you been away from home and back out in the field working. What do you do, work 20 days and take off 10 or something to that effect?

That is very true haha

I've been working local but been working 18hr days... I almost got her all buttoned up. Probably another 3-4hrs and she will be ready to get a tune on her and finally drive it and then possibly start the secret project

My work schedule is 11 on 3 off but I work my 3 off a lot to lol

No way, that has to be the baddest IC setup ever on a 6th gen. Monte. She is going to do so much for your custom turbocharged setup. Are you going to dyno her before the nationals?

What an absolutely gorgeous custom front end your Monte has, truly a one of a kind John. The diamond lathe mesh grille really sets the openings off nicely. No restrictions there for sure, the air intake areas are ginormous... I can't imagine all the hours you have into this front end alone.

thanks greg! it took a lot of cutting etc to get this IC to fit but i got it stuffed in there. i lowered this IC more than the old one to take advantage of the openings in the bumper to help cool the IC/boost.

i am finishing a few more things then i will either be trailering it up to canada to have it professionally tuned on a dyno or i will be paying for him to come here and i will rent a dyno local to get her tuned before gm nationals so i can display my dyno slip at gm nationals

Now that's the way to do the dyno, get someone you trust so much with your build that you will get them to your Monte one way or the other. I flew Brian from Intense Racing out to Vegas to tune my first build, he is supposed to be a 3800 dyno tuning master. But sadly the car was in such crappy condition he could not do much with it.

I can only imagine or no I can't imagine all you had to do to stuff that behemoth of a IC onto and into the front of your car like you did. That was pretty savy lowering the IC down to capitalize on the extra large opening. I wish mine was like yours, extra nice!
