I am almost as anxious as YOU to see how much you do with that sucker... How you get her tuned greatly depends on whether I purchase it or not... I don't wanna waste money on junk... lol as I KNOW it isn't...

All of my parts are starting to trickle in...

Hey, I was looking at a bunch of mod lists and timeslips today, it appears that with just a few more mods, like a better throttle body, you should be running 13.7-13.6..

Think thats anywhere near acurate?

I have no idea. A tune can make a world of difference on track times.

I'm hoping to have them send me an instruction manual, just waiting for an email response. If not I'm going to start building an Introduction to Tuning Guide for the V6's.

Well I am very anxious to see how things go with that! My other two boxes arrived at home today... all that is left is my performance wires, and my catback I will order next week.

Any more DJ gigs?

Don't know when I will be helping out DJing next. Steve really needed me that night to do the job for his protection. Long story.

Bright side is I'm ordering the GenV in 4 hours!!! I verified with Ed that he held it for me, but wasn't at the shop at the time to take payment.

WOW, sounds exciting! If you show great results with everything you are about to do, guess who'll be following in your footsteps? Problem is, you may have to go UP in pulley sizes before you can drop again, to get er tuned in...

I also have read that throttle body spacers really do reduce knock retard by 1-3 degrees... So I am considering that as well...

I had to buy the pre-bent tranny dipstick, so that I dont have to fuss with it when I start my header install.. as I want to make the install a one day process...

Oh, also, if you wouldn't mind, Vita posted a question about a tuner for his car:

Yup responded to that earlier. I plan to give a full write up on where to start once I get the sucker figured out.

Hey, if you need someplace to host the writeup, let me know. I can create a page just for you.

Great weekend too. Friday and Saturday I got to DJ. It was a bonus as it was a friends B-Day party at the bar (you can't beleive what a big deal she made of it) and she wigged when she saw me behind the booth. Good Times.
