Tips no lining up. HELP!
Hey guys!
I just got my SLP Powerflo system in last night and it sound AMAZING! However, the mufflers, and tips are a little weird. The muffler hook onto the pipes fine, but they're tipped up (the back end is up, and the front end is down) Also, the tips wont stay off the bumper, unless I get a couple longer hanger for the mufflers to bring down the tips. Anyone know if I've got something on wrong, or what? I'll get some pictures later today because I have to work.
Thanks!

or push them until they bend into place

So here are a few pictures.. The first one is what it looks like now. The second one is a close up of the muffler.. Notice how it kindof hangs down in the front. And the third one is a shot of the exhaust as a whole (almost). I did try to loosen everything and push it up, but the part between the resonator, and y, is already really close to the heat shield under the car. I also tried to spin the y piece a little, but it doesn't really do anything because the mufflers are still slanting a little. You probably can't see it in the picture, but the outside hangars on the mufflers are zip tied to the rubber hangar because if they're on the rubber part, the tips touch the bumper. My friends dad suggested going to an auto store, or muffler shop and asking for longer rubber hangars. Is this a good idea? Any other suggestions? I'm kindof at an impass here D:
Thanks!

Are the tail pipes larger diameter than what was on the car originally? That may be why they touch the bumper. I wouldn't trust the zip ties to hold the weight of the muffler for very long. Since you can't make any headway adjusting the pipes, getting longer insulators may be the best option in your situation.

Yeah they're bigger. Stock is 2.25" and these are 2.5" pipes. Also, each muffler has two hangers coming off of it. One is connected to the rubber hangar and the other is zip tied to the rubber hangar. I check the zips almost everytime I stop. They're both double zipped so I think they'll hold until I can get longer rubber thingys. Is there any way I could pull the front of the muffler up though? They hang pretty low..

I got the same system on my car and my mechanic brought up the same issue you are having, he had to do a bit of pushing here and there to line it up but he said it wasn't that big of an issue to push around because he had it on his lift.
