the power steering line on the regal and grand prix are same but different than the monte carlo. for the power steering return line in the regal/grand prix is a short coil up line that run by the front passenger side wheel. on the monte the return line is longer and stretch all the way to the front of the cradle by the radiator. if you have pacesetter or other knock off headers installed i would check for clearance between the return line and down pipe. after the headers are in. when putting the car in reverse and if you hear a clung sound more likely the line is hitting on the down pipe. the line looks aluminum but it's steel . should be able to bend it little bit from touching the down pipe.

I dunno about that but my PS lines both run up the rear against the firewall. I have no idea why PS lines would run to the front of the car since the PS pump is on the back of the engine.

there's 2 lines for the ps return line and pressure line. the return line is up to the front more.

here's a return line on the monte carlo. this is the line that might hit your down pipe as it did on my monte.

Even with my TOG headers, the downpipe is damned close to the ps lines running across the back side of the cradle. I never realized that the gp's/regals were different, just assumed that every set of headers was just gonna be a bit close._________________
