Removing old intake box

Default Removing old intake box

i'm having a hard time removing my stock air intake from my 03' monte carlo ls. i know you have to disconnect the hose, but after i do that i still can't remove the air intake box. are there screws holding it in place or anything else holding it down. please help. i really want to put my cold air intake in soon.

There area few screws holding into place. And even after youve fully disconnected it can be tricky to pull out. Sometimes you have to manuever it out and around other things. You should be able to see everything you need to disconnect, its all right out there.

you just have to put a little bit of force and pull up on it the thing sits pretty snug in the grommets
