Thumbs up real exhaust

ON A 2006/2007 IS IT POSSIBLE TO USE REAL DUAL EXHAUST WITH THE 5.3 OR IS CLEARANCE A REALLY BIG PROBLEM? TO ME, THESE CARS (AND MOST OTHER NEWER V/8s) WOULD BE SO MUCH MORE IMPRESSIVE WITH THAT "OLD SCHOOL" MUSCLE SOUND. EVEN IF SOME FABRICATING WAS NEEDED, IT WOULD BE WORTH IT. NOTHING BEATS THAT SMALL BLOCK CHEVY/GLASSPACK SOUND. WITH THESE CARS LOOKING AND PERFORMING THE WAY THEY DO, THAT SOUND WOULD BE THE ICING ON THE CAKE.

Um... I don't know about running true dual exhaust, but you could look into getting a cut-out installed after your cat. A bunch of guys have them on their LS4 engines on LS1tech. I think there are also some YouTube videos of them as well.

i wonder if you could run 2 two and a quarter inch pipes all the way back, with supertrapps at the tips. then you could adjust noise levels / backpressure with the diffuser packs right at the end.

True dual exhaust would be awkward in that vehicle due to the way the engine is positioned and the clearances that run down the vehicle.
