Prepping for Nos....
Well, guys, I figure a bottle in my car is a good way to get some HP and for about 500 bucks for the bottle alone, I dont wanna screw this up when it gets time to making the investment. Im curious, on a 3400 engine what is it I should be replacing with aftermarket before I give it the first shot? I REALLY dont want it to grenade on me. Also, ive done some looking and all I find are forums like these: http://www.automotivehelper.com/topic427175.htm and, well, their not much help as you can read. all they do is bash... Id appreciate any help!
im THINKING about this kit for the N20... what do ya think? http://www.zzperformance.com/grand_a...=462&catid=141

RE: Prepping for Nos....
yep, i figure, if Im going to put nos to it im not going to run more than 35 or 40 for the shot. Its not to sky rocket me... but, more or less just help me stay up in acceleration. With the smart system, I can also only have it turn on at full throttle.
As of now I know I need to swap to cooler plugs with a smaller gap, and I have heard about changing the injectors... I just dont know to what!

RE: Prepping for Nos....
the zex kit is a nice kit i know a couple of guys runningzex i myself am running a nx kit
but it's a dry kit i would not go over a 50 shot with that !
i dont think you will have to change much for just a 50 shot
and if you want more that 50 go with a wet shot because it compensets for the extra fuel you need i am running a 125 shot on my 3400
but acording to most nitrous company's they say that a stock motor can take a 20 shot per piston so 80 for 4 cyl 120 for 6 cyl and 160 for 8 cyl
