No K&N?
When I do a search on the K&N site for products that fit my car, it only comes up with a stock air filter replacement. It shows the FIPK for the 3800 in that year, but for my car: nothing. Does this mean that none of their CAI will fit my car?
i think its cuz the average person that has the 3.4 l probably doesn't want a cold air intake...usually the guyz that do their cars up for speed would have the 3.8l engine..
but even if it didn't work you could find a 3.8l in a junkyard, take the throttle body off of it and put it on yours...then connect the cold air intake to it...but its probably the samealready..should be the same throttle body...i'm 99.9% sure that the cold air intake for the 3.8 will fit the the 3.4...

the intakes for the 3800 should fit the 3400 yes. Wiz FYI 3.4L is not the same as 3400 they are two diff engines... 97 was the last year for the 3.4L
as for the TB's the 3800 TB is very different from the 3400 TB. Now the 3100 and 3400 TB's are almost identical except that the 3400 is slightly bigger inside (good swap mod)
the only problems i see with the install is that the 3800's MAF sensor is built into the TB and the 3400 has an external sensor that is between the TB and airbox. worst case is that you will need to cut a section of the CAI and fit in the maf sensor some where. but obviously the engine bay is the same. if you want some info on how to build your own CAI/FWI fender well intake. go to my homepage and to page 6. i have a writeup there for my car and links to about four other sites with info more specific to your year car. if you cant find a design you like there... you prob wont find one.
