Default New ZZP DownPipe

So early this year, I added UMI Performance trailing arms, but over this weekend, I finally added something to start bumping up my performance.

Like many, I installed a 2.5" down pipe with high flow cat. It took a while for me to commit to this (lots of mod questions, answers and input). So, most logical step is work the exhaust back.

My install was a BREEZE! And so far, so good. I notice some improved throttle response, it "goes" better. So far, I am pleased with this mod.

I posted pics and more info then anyone else care to know here:

Now, I plan to get a ZZP Power Log soon.

Also, Saturday, I got a thottle body from a SuperCharged 3800. I am in the middle of cleaning it up, modding it and getting it ready to slap onto my Monte (hopefully it will yield some more improvement). Either way, the part from the junk yard was $30 (so low investment).

I recommend doing the power log and crossover at the same time, since you'll be there anyway.

Power Log is on my list of next mods (figure the credit I get returning my old down pipe to ZZP can go towards a PLOG, but right now, they are out of stock, been that way since May and the info they supplied is it will hopefully be in stock soon).

Now, what cross over are you talking about? The ceramic coated one from ZZP?

I wouldn't bother spending $50 on a ceramic coated crossover.

The L67 (supercharged 3800) throttle body has a different outlet design than the L36 (N/A 3800) does- the L67 TB is basically a circle, the L36 one is a weirder shape. While the L67 TB will physically bolt up to your L36 upper intake manifold, it probably won't give you a significant gain in performance due to the mis-matched outlet.

Just my opinion, but I'd hold off on the PLOG for now- you aren't flowing that much air to need better flowing exhaust. I think you'd see better gains from the HV3 inserts, or some ER rockers, or a ST1 L36 throttle body from ZZP at this point.
