New Exhaust

New Exhaust
Next week (probably Friday) I'm taking the Monte down to a local muffler shop to have my resonator repaired (has some leaks). Then I'm having them y pipe it and install dual Magnaflows with 3" tips. All the piping (starting after the res) will be stainless steel (as will the mufflers). He told me I could do aluminized steel to save money but I'll have to come back in a few years to swap out the pipes since they'll rust out.
So about 600 total for the piping, the hangers, the mufflers, tips, and installation.

Can do - I have one up of my stock system already up (before my resonator got fixed the first time). ‪2000 Monte Carlo LS - Stock Exhuast‬‏ - YouTube Didn't really punch it though.

I've gone to a place about 1.5 hours from home. They do all custom stainless steel. My Camaro (which has not ran in years) and my current Grand Am have their exhaust systems. I never took my Monte there as it's a heck of a lot of time invested for JUST a resenator (but if I ever need/want to change the exhaust, they are first on my call list).
They no longer have a web site, so I made a page off my site just sharing my experience:
www.stainlessexhaust.com
BTW - Just ditch the resenator and have a piece of stainless put in it's place (I did)
