What's up ppl. I have a 97 Z34 and I want to make her growl but don't know which would do the job I've never did an custom exhaust before now I don't want it to be to loud don't want her to sound like a motor cycle and what not just a good decent roar. Thanks

 

I'd suggest replacing the resonator with a straight pipe. It will be louder, but not crazy loud and everything will still look stock.

 

or cherry bomb the resonator. u get a lot of sound from an intake too. even upgrading ur panel filter to kn panel is worth a lil bit of sound

I replaced my resonator with a Magnaflow glass pack when I installed a new downpipe and (imo) it sounds really good. It's slightly louder at idle than stock with a mellow, low tone to it. On acceleration it gets a bit louder, but not obnoxiously loud. No drone at cruising speed. Adding the CAI was like icing on the cake. It sounds even better now. Once I get a new camcorder I'll be posting some clips...
