So, I love my monte, and she's 90% close to being done. Spoiler? Check. New wheels? Check. Subs (Almost done!) Check. ****ty looking stock muffler/exhaust? CHECK.

I'm so tired of my monte being a beautiful car and having that ****ty, weathered, POS muffler that sounds like a tin can on the back of my car. I want something better; something cheap, (under 200 for the entire setup) that doesn't sound like **** and looks to boot. Here's sort of what I've had in mind: Flowmaster 44 single muffler, bolt on chrome single tip, and maybe a cat back if I can afford it (haven't seen any yet that fall under that category though lol)

Any suggestions, guys? Thanks in advance, and links to the parts in question would be awesome.

Ok, little update. I went by a local shop today and got an estimate. They said they can completely update the exhaust from the cat to the tip, take out everything (including the resonator), put in all-new pipes, a flowmaster 40 and a gorgeous stainless tip (It was like 3/8 of an inch thick. it was beautiful.) for 190$ flat, labor and everything. If I had the money, I would have jumped on that right there.. he said he wouldn't reccomend the dual exhaust on a 3.4, since it's just not putting out enough exhaust. So I'm sticking with one pipe..

I think thats what I'm going to do, but I want other opinions. Good price?

 

Hey man let me know how that sounds when or if you get it installed...I myself have a 3.4L and i kinds want a new exhaust too...something thats got a nice deep tone
