I have a 2001 Monte SS and I have a flow master exhaust system, now the thing is, I want something louder and with a deeper tone to it. What do you guys recommend?

 

if you want it to be loud, get yourself borla XR-1 racing exhaust. that will satisfy loud.
if you want it to be good sounding loud, add some headers with the borla XR-1 exhaust. that will be great.

 

straight pipe will be louder and deeper..... but [:'(]

 

Would a u bend delete deepen the sound at all? or make it louder?

 

I don't believe that u-bend delete will make you that much louder... may improve the flow a little bit, but not a noticable difference in sound.

I have an 18" glasspack where the resonator was underneath my cars with no exhaust pipes on the end... now if you want a loud exhaust system, thats the exhaust for you.

 

i wouldn't try to make any more louder. what you already have is probably good enuff. our cars are V6 and it will not sound good like the V8. mine is cammed, 3" exhaust, headers, no cat, and p&p heads and i sometime don't like how it sounds at wot.

Cowboy6622, What kind of glasspack do you have? and do u have any vids of ur ride?
