Someone on LS4 forums was talking about how theirs got warped from the heat...Ive done a few long spirited drives and I dont think its ever gotten hot enough to even make the piece warm enough to bend...I check mine all the time, hopefully wont have this problem lol

I checked out mine and it's OK. It has hardly any miles on it though. And my car only gets driven maybe a couple of times a week now.

Customer service and STANDING by your product goes a long way. We all want products that don't fail, but it happens. I'm happy when I hear of companies that keep customers happy by simple service (in this case, free, no questions asked replacement).

if the filter was round the outside edge of that tube then i would think it was either over tightened or the just was a weak spot there for it to buckle.

i have had a PVC pipe for 5+ years now and it did shrink a little as i used thin wall pipe but never warped and buckled like that.

I say when you get the new one, Sell it and make your own.
That is the connection to the Throttle Body, not the Filter. It goes into a silicone coupler and gets tightened down, but no way could I tighten through the TB, Through a coupler, through that part to do the damage. Had to be heat related and how close the IAT sensor hole is near the edge creating a weak point.

I'm going to continue to use this one, no point in worrying. I'm going Turbo for my car (most likely doing the install next year) so this whole CAI system is going to be dumped (sold cheap to anyone who wants it) since the turbo will have it's own intake.
