Just installed about 2 weeks ago on my 01 SS . Noticable throttle response and more airflow is deffinite. I would recommend getting a buddy to help you install, its a bitch. Some inner fenderwell modification is required, nothing a hammer can't fix though. I would recommend a 7" flat oval cone filter, it fits way better. If you just get the regular 7" cone, you will have to muscle it in before you attatch it to the pipe, which is very frustrating. Take the headlight out and reach back and hold the back of the filter while your friend fits it in. It's well worth the money and doesn't look bad at all under the hood.

where did you get that CAI at? sounds ilke it's something you bought somewhere... where did you find it?

 

i got mine from zz performance i think...or w-body store. i tool mine out in favor of a wiz-aired intake system, didnt want to do the fender mods. its for sale if anybody wants it....

 

I got it from Wbodystore.com. I chose it over the K&N and Wizair because i didn't like the boxed in setup under the hood.
