Im new to the forum.

I have owned an 02 monte ss a while back. now im driving an 07 cobalt ss/sc and i have modded it significantly and am wanting to trade up to an 06 monte at my local dealer.

just like anyone else im addicted to creating more hp. so just wanting to know where you guys are finding products for your 06 and 07 monte carlo ss.

There aren't MANY mods for those engines that aren't a one-off or custom made yet.

 

as sheep said, there aren't too many mods for that engine YET. hopefully there will be in the future.

the mods i know of so far are a couple different Cold air kits, exhaust downpipe made by Hogan Performance, Magnaflow catback exhaust, throttle body spacers, and a few different engine tuners such as Diablo or HP Tuners. You could get it dyno tuned by a local speed shop also. those alone would net you some pretty good gains IMO. if i have forgot anything else, i'm sure others will chime in.

 

Don't forget that ZZP also has a set of high ratio rockers for that engine.

I'd head over to http://ls1tech.com/forums/ls4-front-...2005-2009-108/ and go into the LS4 sub forum and search though that. You'll find some more performance oriented people over there. I'd say a good start though would be an intake, exhaust, and tune.
