i have an all original L48 350 72 monte carlo and was wondering if there was anything to be had from changing the original intake to an aluminum after market one? it is all stock minus the HEI and headers/ dual exhaust? i want to keep the factory choke and q-jet. the intake casting numbers are for a 72 corvette 6263751. just wondering if its worth it or if ide just be throwing money away. i know the old stuff before smog flowed very well.
