I have a 2002 Monte Carlo LS with a 3400 engine. i want to buy a cold air intake and exhaust system can someone help me to pick them out so i can get as much power as possible. Let me know what parts have worked best

 

something that was helpful for me when i first got on this forum was just to go to the search button at the top right of the page and type in what you're looking for. you will find tons of info on what ppl use for intake and exhaust. there are lots of choices to pick from so it can be kinda tough, so if you're still stumped, let us know. good luck and welcome to the MCF! (it gets addicting)

 

Hey man, take a look at my car... its a 3400 also. Granted, Ive changed my car since the video but it still had the exhaust and CAI at that point.

 

Hey all if ur wondering about an intake i can tell u that i put a K&N short ram on my 3400 Monte Carlo. it will require a little modification but i will work. Its not as good as a full intake but throttle response has increased dramatically. The intake that i had to modify was originally for a 3800 motor but yet again it is great.
