it depends on how the exhaust is changed. would the person going to have it running straight out the side defore the windows. also having a good rumble isnt bad and not illigel aka not breken nois ordenence with every start up, and drive away to the store work or to the club or do the day to day.different mufflers and cat are not illegel if they were the caviler mustang truck and monty carlo that i have would be considered to be illegel. its all about 50 state emisions and nois ordenence if easy to follow dont worry as long as that is followed dont worry

now that, as a blanket statement, is false.

It's only illegal for a certain point.

I believe that point is 8 years / 80,000 miles.

yeah i think that's the standard cat warranty now, but that wont affect the rest of the exhaust.

Well I found a guy to do it and he is pretty close to me. I don't wanna use the same bolts though I hear that if you use stainless bolts they will not rust and they also look better. I would think this would only take 30 min max to do. The bolts I will just have to ask him about or go buy them before.

they look better? you gonna have people crawl under your car at the car show? heh

:P

might take more than 30 minutes to get the old bolts out... they can be a pain to get out if they are rusted in there much.

Lol I just figured I want my mechanic to be impressed when my car breaks down. The bolts don't look too bad I would do it myself but it looks like a pain with no lift. I just figured if I am paying for the part and the install I want the best parts. But maybe I will put a camera under my car with a monitor hooked up to show off my bolts at shows lol.
