How bad will a SC Bonneville run without cat an no tune or 02 eliminators?

Got a friend just told me on his gtp with coldair, one heat range lower on plugs, wires, 180 drilled tstat, 3.4 pulley, ubend delete ported s/c case and a zzp tune has its been great for years and runs 13.9's in 1/4. What so different with his car?

Seems like you're really trying hard to swap pulleys on it- have you even scanned the car yet? Ask any hardcore L67 person, and they'll tell you that square 1 is to scan the car for KR and see where it's at. If he's got only a couple degrees of KR now, then you know you wouldn't have to do too much to get to a 3.5"; if its running 7-8* of KR, you know its going to be a real pain.

As I said before, as long as its still on a stock pulley, and he's not planning to change it soon- its not really a big deal how much KR it has- because I don't think I've never seen a chipped piston from a stock pulley.
Only time its a big deal to scan is if he's seriously considering swapping pulleys, then its a good idea to find out where you're at with KR.
