Then for basically $189 you can have a stainless downpipe that wont rot away, and pick up about 10hp in the process. Check out ZZPerformance.com. I was there yesterday. They make everything in house. TOP quality products. GOOD prices.

if you do like i said, the check engine light won't come on. just make sure the exhuast shop hooks all the sensors back up the way they are supposed to be before ya leave.

I'm to understand that most pre '04 cars can have problems with O2 sensers throwing fault codes from changing to high flow cats . That's why they sell O2 emulators to replace O2 sensors! That to me is the issue. I wanted to KEEP my O2 sensor. So far no problems with this ZZP downpipe. Ask others if they still have their downline O2 sensors. I do. This factory '04 cat looks totally different than my '01 did.

I have a generic no name hi flow cat and hi flow muffler on my RAM 3500 which cost me under $300. It is not loud but has a very throaty deep satisfactory sound.

I wish I would have asked the brand name but at the time I didn't care.

Like Cowboy said, there are products out there that won't break you and sound nice and not as loud or back-firey as Flowmaters.

I will try to do some more back tracking with my mechanic to see what brand it it.
