Doesnt really look like a muffler to me. I dont see how it would muffle the sound. If anything I would think it would make it louder because of all the space for the sound to resonate in.

 

yeah, ive seen those, but im not the biggest fan of those. i like round tips that are the same size as the outlet of the muffler. just my personal preferance though. i know alot of people like the bowtie tips.

cant say that ive seen that before but it might work.you just need to separate the sound waves and then bounce them together to quiet the exhaust down which that should do.
if i get a chance i will get our car on the hoist and show you another strange muffler that somehow works

 

looks like a different muffler for a honda that bosts that it gives 50hp to honda motors
