Does anyone have any sound clips of this exhaust and do the 4" tips clear the bumper cutouts on the cars with the lower ground effects like on my Dale Jr.?

The kit looks very nice from the pics I've seen and I would like an exhaust system for my car but I have heard that this engine doesn't sound very good at higher rpms with aftermarket systems.

I see that Borla offers a catback kit for our cars but its twice the price. I have a Borla catback on my 98 K1500 with the 5.7L and it sounds good.

I'm tempted to buy the GMPP kit before its unavailable but am unsure if I will like the sound. Decisions, decisions.

it will fit the ground effects like one your dale jr, i dont think its that much lower.

the GMPP is one of the most liked exhaust systems for the 3800 in the montes.

I know there's a video of it around here somewhere, if i find it ill post it for you, or maybe someone else will also

I went to Summit's website last night and it said that this exhaust would ship on 5/4/11 so it doesn't sound like it was in stock. I can't imagine they would take that long to ship something if you ordered in now and it was in stock. Thats over a month away. I've ordered stuff from them in the past and in stock stuff never took that long to ship. I was thinking of breaking weak and buying this.

I guess it's gone from Summit now then.

I doubt they'll ever get the stock even if someone places the order.

Probably the only way to know for sure is to call them and see what they say. I may do that tomorrow.

ChibiblackSheep, Did you lose any low end torque when you installed this system? Thanks.
