Default General consensus about 06 Monte Exhausts??

So, the magnaflow kit is out and people are doing custom setups. What is the best setup right now?

This is all personal preference. The stock exhaust is top notch for HP and doesn't become a flow problem until after you produce more that 350HP.

Do the U-Bend delete for sure because that does hold up 5HP on a dyno.

You can change just the mufflers for sound unless you are going to do some hardcore performance mods which don't exist for the car yet. Flowmasters, Borla and Dynomax are great among others.

so a muffler shop should be able to remove the u-bend - put in a straight piece - and keep the original piping??
