Talking new to forum and to monte carlo's in general; have a few questions

Hello everyone;

I am new to this forum, i just joined and well this is my first post.
I have always liked the way the Monte Carlo's look and now with a few bucks from my tax return i want to make an investment unto buying me a used Monte Carlo.
I found one near me; it's an LS, but the guy told me that it's an "TS Package" now, i came back home and i can't find anything on these "TS Package" Montes.
Can anyone give me information on them, the car is was advertised for 7999 but i talked the guy to 6999 now i just need a co-signer buy tomorrow; but i am hesitant because i dont know much about this "TS" i really want an SS but i couldnt find one in the price range near me.
please any help would be greatly appreciated.

^.^

Hi Jomao-o, & Welcome to the Monte Carlo Family Forum.
What year is the LS ?
How many miles R on `it ?
Does the dealer have a CarFaxReport on this Monte ?
(Describes how many owners, service records, etc)

How soon do you need 2 get a Monte ?
It really pays 2 get what you really like, especially the
Awesome SS's. It's your $'s.
Please post additional infor, and I am sure our member's
will assist. It's Sunday, and many members were out late

Arrow Sweet Look'in Monte LS

That's a Sweet Look'in 03 LS 4-$ure.
The miles are low 4 a 03, about 10K a yr.
I would ask dealer for the CarFax report, and check or do a
search on sites like MSN auto's for reliability reports.
The 3.4L is limited to mod's, but has decent power, but
not as powerful as the 3.8L in the SS
Did you do a Black Book Value ?
$6,999 seems like a decent price `if the Monte looks as
good in person as it does in the pic's.
Check back for MCF MEmber's that have the LS, or
check out their posts. Explore the forum & use our search engine
to gain more knowledge on the Monte.
I could be typing infor all day on the Monte Carlo.
If you treat your ride with love, it will love U back, & if
U abuse it it will abuse U 4-Sure

I want a cool looking Monte as a first.
If the LS is limited to Mods i might have to recosider.
But would you say that it's better than buying a Honda or Toyota which
is what my folks are pushing me for. (i'm 22 btw)
I would MAYBE consider a turbo kit in the long run, but i dont even know how much that would cost me.
I have yet to see the car in person. I've done everything over the phone (EVEN The negociating the price lol ) hopefully i make it in time tomorrow after work (its about an hour drive) yeah, that's how bad i want a Monte Carlo. I wish it was an SS though. I hope other members read this so i can get some info and advice.
What about the TS Package, Kidspace, what do you know about it, google gives me nothing on it; it says "Did you me SS? " lol i wish i did

Great link ^.^ there was one; a scary link.
The one with the recalls.
There were a couple i didn't pay much attention to that.
Also i looked at the 3.4 engine ... it looks aweful compared to the 3.8 series.
But "beggars can't be choosers" right...?
I think i might just go for it, its better than NOT having a nice looking Monte.

* sighs *
