Talking Flowmaster Question

I have a 02 monte with a 3.8 L motor and I have Flowmaster Series 40 mufflers on my car already but I want something louder. Which Flowmaster muffler is the loudest they have? I was looking at Series 10 but I wanted other opinions. Is their one louder than the series 10? Or is that the loudest they come? And yes I want to be the loudest obnoxious *** coming down the street

I swear, on a stack of bibles, that last night I had a set of FM Super 44's installed on my 03 SS 3.8L. NO resonator, & STOCK downpipe (for now). Cold Air Inductions, Inc.'s cold air intake to be on later today .. But to the muffs, I think they sound fantastic. ... Wanna do a short vid later ...

I do not know how much louder you want, etc. How about just running a resonator, & NO muffs? How about a high-end glass-pack in place of the resonator, then no muffs? I do not know if you are going to find much more out there that are going to growl as much as the "loudest" FM ...

Loudest? Obnoxious? =) Straight pipes, not even a resonator ...

Is their a big enough sound difference between the 40 series muffler and the Super 44's to switch? Or is the sound difference very small?

@codym0914: The Super 44's are part of the "40 Series" of FM's muffs. According to FM's website, & what I listened to on YouTube, etc., the 44's seemed like my best bet for grrr-owl out the back, along with near silence in the cabin ... with the windows up, sunroof closed, & that is exactly what I have. ZERO "drone" that many people speak of.

Got my intake on today, & WOW (!), I love how it sounds at WOT. Only thing to do next is the downpipe (ZZP) with cat & u-delete. Then I will be all set.

your car doesn't sound like a chainsaw or a weed whacker with the resonator off though? does it sound like a v8?

No chainsaw, no whacker, ... but there really aren't any V6's that sound like V8's.

If I cannot do a video today, I WILL do one tomorrow. I have had 67 things pulling me in 68 directions over the past few days, but have had plans for this since installing them ... I think there are numerous people who were/are skeptical about the final product ...

This is a great option especially if you can get it put in before you Cat. which could cause some issues legally, but it does give you the option to quiet your car if the 5-oh come by use the electric cut out and rev your engine and say what are you talking about must have been that Chrystler dynasty
