fenderlwell intake

I have herd this is one of the better ways to do an intake. is it very easy to make one of these or is there a kit that would be better to get. about how much would something like this cost?

FWI is a do-it-yourself type of job.
They have their pros and cons, just like all the other intake options.
Pros: Greater air-flow (over stock), Guaranteed Cold air (unlike some of the boxes), Usually cheaper to make since you don't need to make a box for the Filter. Just get some tubing and go into the fenderwell with a cone on the end of it.
Cons: Greater risk of driving when it rains heavy, Can't go through automatic car wash. Filter is exposed in the fenderwell can get beat up if not careful.
