Unhappy Exhaust tips not lining up

I don't know how I never noticed this before but the tips on my 04 Intimidator do not line up correctly with the ground effects. Both sides are toward the center of the car about 2-3 inches from where they should sit. Has anyone run into this before and is there an easy fix without trying to bend the pipes?

did you get under the car and see if the rubber hangers are still in good shape or atleast all the way on?

Yeah, they are all in good shape and attached. The ones on the center side of each look like they are stretching further than they should though. As if they are pulling the mufflers further to the center than normal. None of the pipes look like they have been bent or have kinks in them though.

Are you the original owner? Is it the original exhaust?

Don't know if this is relevant to your case, however when I changed out my stock exhaust with Magnaflow mufflers they did not come with the mounting brackets, so the shop had to weld make-shift brackets on... I was present in the shop through the whole process, and I know he had a hell of a time lining them up properly, if I had not been there complaining about it they would have definately been off-center... If yours is a stock exaust this would not explain it and I doubt that heat bend could account for it also... Could the exaust system have been hit from underneath?... Pics would be helpful... Good luck...

Call me dumb but I think i figured it out. I was looking back at some old pics and noticed they were fine. I backed into a work trailer late last year so it must have bent the pipes in and I never realized it. From underneath it didn't look to me that they are bent. Shows what I know. Thanks for the feedback though fellas

I have the same problem w/ mine. It's an aftermarket kit (Borlan?). The hangers are pulled toward the front like the pipes are a smidge short. It's just clamped, so I thought I'd run the exhaust and look for some slack. They seem to hang inline w/ the body hangers, though, so even if I find the slack and fix the busted hangers, I think they'll still be toward the center. They were uneven in height too, but I evened that out some. Thought I had a question, but I guess not. The fix is probably just rotate or bend somewhere slightly. (the previous owner installed the kit)
