Default exhaust system

Would Putting an hole new exhaust system on my 2003 ls . Make a big diffence?

If so want brand would you go with?

Yes. the new monte's have a flaw in the exhaust... it is called the U-bend. it is a bend in the exhaust used to protect the O2 sensor thatis after the cat. it is a major restriction in the exhaust. also all the piping is press bent so replacing that Ubend and the remaining exhaust with mandral bent pipe will free up a good amount of power... esp if you have an intake.

Yeah, what he said. The Ubend on 01' up is before the CAT if not mistaken. How much effieciency is gained by replacing all other pipe do you think? I've always wondered if the cost beyond the Ubend upgrade was worth it...

the U bend is for the post cat O2 the pre cat o2 is in the engine bay by the fire wall... so the Ubend will be after the cat. yes the gain will be significant if replacing everythign after the cat. and even better if replacing the cat too.
