SLP Exhaust System
So, I have a company telling me that for 150 bucks, they will install this system:
SLP "PowerFlo"
Stainless Steel
Exhaust System,
2000-2005 Impala and
Monte Carlo
Anyone have any experience with this?
Thanks In Advance for any responses!

well i would imagine it would be the same, and 150 bucks fora stainless system installed is awesome!!! i can't believe its that cheap,
is that cat back?? make sure it doesn't have a u-bend in it, you want to get rid of that, and no resonator is better, and is it dual?

Not true dual, but it is dual after the initial run off of the header. And I actually did not ask about the cat back and u bend delete. I will though! Thanks! I'm glad you mentioned it. The guy installing is a buddy of mine that owns his own shop.He owes me a few favors for DJing at his daughter's sweet 16 birthday party.
I will ask, and get back to you.
I wonder how the SOUND is though, as far as aesthetics are concerned... I NEED it to sound good

RE: SLP Exhaust System
I have a friend with Gp GTP and he had this system and it sounded amazing
He had a FWI, 3.4 pulley, 180 t-stat, and ZZp 2.5 downpipe racepipe.
when he didint have the down pipe it sounded amazing then after he got the down pipe it was really raspy but i thought it sounded even better than before
also if you do end up getting the whipple SC or the turbo i think that you would want to get a custom exhaust that was 3" becasue i believe the SLP system is only 2.5 and if you are going to get a bigger SC you might have some back presure not sure though

once we get a nice day i'll have to get a sound clip of mine, or you could just try it before putting any different mufflers on, just take out the cat and put in a high flow one, then u-bend delete, then resonator delete, then split out to 2 mufflers (still factory), it took about 2 months or so but i just love the sound of it now its got a nice little noise to it without being too loud. you can tell she's got some hp
