I am getting ready to purchase the 3 inch downpipe and power log and ported manifold from ZZPerformance.com. My question is what mufflers and exhaust tips should I get for the best possible performance. I want performance mufflers, not just the kind that are good-sounding, and for exhaust tips, I want the best performance possible also... Any suggestions?

 

Mufflers I don't think there is really that much difference between 'em, maybe 2-3hp difference I think. As for tips go with what ever looks good, performance wise just don't get tips that are smaller than your piping.

I'm sure someone else will come along that knows more than me here shortly.

 

agreed- none of it is going to make a difference, all tips and most mufflers will make the exact same power. you should choose them more based off of sound.
