I have a 2007 ss and I'm looking at putting exhaust on. I was wondering what size of pipe is best. I believe the stock pipe is 2.5" from the cat back to the y where it goes to two mufflers. I'm just wondering if it would be better to go up to 3" or if making it 2.5" all the way back is good enough. Thanks

 

If you plan on modding any more I would go 3". 2.5" I have heard doesn't really make any difference over stock
