Since i replaced my downpipe i have heard a small exhaust leak. Could it be that there is no gasket from the header collector to the downpipe. The stock pipe has a groove that fits into the other end. The downpipe i bought is a flat fit to the recessed stock collector. Does that seem like the problem. Should i just order a gasket to be safe. Thanks...

 

I'd definately get a gasket. And make sure your bolts are tight on the downpipe/header.

 

What downpipe are you running?

On my ZZP DP, I have a gasket on both ends.

 

i have a magnaflow 2.5 high flow cat. i heard that if you over tighten the bolts connection will warp. ???

 

From my experience with an L67 downpipe, it's hard to even tighten - I can't put enough force on it to make mine warp. Perhaps yours is different.
