exhaust help

Leave the resonator on there. Do not completely remove the mufflers. You can find decent 2 chamber flowmaster knockoffs on ebay. That is what I am running. Besides the paint on them not being as good, I really cant tell a difference. I believe I paid 25 bucks a piece for mine.

Agreed. I'm running Summit Racing Race mufflers. Good and cheap. However, I might be going with a smaller resonator in the near future.

thanks everyone for your help and advice but as i happen to have the misfortune to live in the stupid *** state of Pennsylvania, we have state inspection. how fun! and my monte wont pass unless it has a FULL exhaust sysetm (cat., resonator, and 2 mufflers). so, im going to save up for the Summit Racing glasspacks and get them installed, probably next spring. thanks again!
