Default RE: electric cut outs

Seriously, slow down when you type- that 2nd line is impossible to read. You will get a much better response if you make it easy for people to read your question.

As for a cutout- why would you need more than 1? Just buy one, and mount it up at the front of the exhaust- either before the cat (if the idea is to achieve minimum backpressure) or right after the cat (if you need to pass emissions, but want the loud open sound).

What are you looking for when you ask 'is it worth it'? It will change the exhaust from nearly silent stock, to stupid loud straight pipe sound. If that is what you want, then I guess it is worth it. It is a big step up from just straight piping it permanently, because you have the option to close it and still be able to cruise around with a 'normal' sounding car.

If you're looking for power gains, its not gonna happen- you won't be any faster with the cutout open- you can probably pull a few more peak horsepower, with a few horsepower lost down lower, but it basically evens out. The only cars I've seen benefit greatly from a cutout are turbo cars because exhaust velocity is so key.
