i have a 2006 monte carlo LT and ive been wanting dual exhaust, last place i went talking to a mechanic about it, he said they didnt have a welder so i would need to find the whole kit online to order that would fit my car, but i get really confused trying to find the whole kit and what i need. help?

or you can do like us 3.9's have, and make a y bend to get your second pipe

 

or go to a real exhaust shop- they all have welders, and specialize in exhaust work.

What kind of mechanic doesn't at least have access to a welder?
