Deleted my resonator and...
Very cool - have any sound clips? My SLP cat back exhaust didn't even come with a resonator - just straight pipe. Believe it or not my Dynomax system that I have on my 03 has a resonator and it actually sounds louder inside and out than my SLP - go figure.
I wish I was able to get a sound clip. The sound is amazing at wide open throttle and not to obnoxious at cruising speeds. I should've just had it removed when I had the mufflers put on. Now, I'm kind of thinking about a downpipe with a high-flow converter, at which time, I'll probably be swap to a different intake setup.
Those dynomax mufflers sound nice. I heard them on a friend's 69 camaro and was impressed.

slp catback sux. my father have on his gtp and after 3 years as of now he wants to change his exhaust setup. he wants to go with flowmaster super 40 mufflers and high flow cat
Just had it done on my LS this week, and I am happy about the U bend delete/straight pipe/resonator delete. A local muffler shop did it for $50, and it is well worth it.
Just a little more rumble, and possibly a smidge better throttle response.

I didn't want the interior drone that I've read about from removing the resonator. I've also heard some clips with just the resonator delete and everything else stock and it sounded horribly tinny at high RPM's. Not my thing. I'll stick with my $35 Summit Race mufflers. lol
