Deepest muffler ???? Help pls
I want to do exhaust on my 05 lt 3.8 but I haven't yet because I haven't heard a setup that really impressed me (in my price range) lol. My question is what is the deepest muffler / setup. I also want it to be LOUD. Like turning heads loud! Thanks for all the help!

Loud does not equal good on these engines.
Everyone is going to have a different opinion on the exhaust set-up. Best thing you can do is try to find videos of exhaust setups and see what you like. Or go to car shows and try to listen to ours lol

If you want "turning heads LOUD" run an open downpipe.
Anything loud on a n/a 3800 will have a sound that is not desired by most. I haven't heard anything in person aside from my SLP PowerFlo and stock. I like my current set-up, but I won't recommend it because of the price and the fact that it is discontinued. I would say mine is somewhat loud? Has a nice rumble on cold starts and at idle, but it's pretty quiet for normal driving, meaning, not a lot of drone inside the car.
Also, there's no good way to give you the full experience without hearing the set-up in person.
If your budget allows, I would suggest SLP PowerFlo or Loud Mouth mufflers, along with a u-bend delete, and a resonator delete.

I got the super 44s dual mufflers, resonator, U bend, and cat delete. I'd say its pretty decently loud with a really nice rumble on cold start and idle, you can hear at its loudest point at rpms between 1000-4000. I have a video somewhere here ill post if i find it.
Ps. Lots of people say flowmasters dont brake in... that they will always be as loud as the day they r installed but 6 months after my install they're twice as loud as before....and i got the 3400 motor which some say has a deeper rumble than the 3800's
