yeah those magnaflow direct replacement sux the p420 always go off on my malibu. if u want to keep a cat i suggest removing whatever crappy cat they put on there and buy yourself a tru high flow one weld it on there. I had no problem at all with my tru magnflow high flow cat that was welded to my downpipe on my monte.

well im sure this ZZP downpipe im getting will be much better and wont go bad like this magnaflow i currently have :p lol

My cat on my zzp downpipe is going bad. I have a replacement in my trunk, but I can't find an exhaust shop that will weld the stainless cat to the stainless pipe

They are all afraid to do it, I guess their welders suck.

But my car was running stupid rich for a while so I'm sure that was the problem.

That sucks lol
im sure with this DP my car is still going to throw the p0420 code right? :p might get an overkill tune soon as well and have that deleted if it does

It might not throw it right away, but yes it will probably be there.

I think mine took 2 weeks to come on? But I was tuned shortly after haha

so is overkill the way to go for a canned tune?
