Could my cat be clogged?

what do you think about deleting my cat mike? lol
im almost positive its clogged because i can barely hear my exhaust anymore

Go for it, if it's not illegal in your area. Just realize when you delete it, your exhaust will smell a little more than usual but that is now normal.

And you'll need the P0420 code deleted from your PCM

damn i dont want that exhaust smell :p

a few minutes ago i was reving up the car, and its making some hissing noise around where the cat is, i reved it to 4k rpms and held it there for about 10 seconds and i see that the CEL starts flashing for a little bit then stops. my temp gauge also went past the 3/4 mark! . my engine bay has been getting extremely hot to the touch these past few days too, radiator support, braces and engine mounts.... could these be other symptoms of a bad cat?

Wow your car gets hot... Mine never reaches halfway mark xD But i do have a tune for a 180* tstat. Have you seen your cat glowing red?

it has a shield around it, i have magnaflow direct fit down pipe

I deleted my cat years ago.....

I havent noticed any "change" in the smell of the exhaust....But it sure breathes a whole lot better!
