The Intake boxes look great, not too bad on the price either I suppose.
From what I've noticed, your Cold Air Intake systems for the 3800 engine still use the factory intake duct/tubing? From my understanding that is one of the more restrictive parts of the stock intake? Is there any reason why the kit doesn't include a different style of tubing?
Maybe it's just me but I feel like that OEM tubing with the ribs would be restrictive for incoming air? I'm just trying to justify the cost of a sealed box and a filter for $260 but still has a great amount of restriction in the tubing? Don't get me wrong, a sealed box with a cone filter has to be a great improvement vs. the stock box and filter, but IMO a good intake would need that ribbed tubing gone.
I see that some of your intakes do include a tubing which looks like it would be much less restrictive than our OEM. Can we expect any changes to the tubing or some type of duct to come with the 3800 kits in the future?

The MAF sensor is housed in the Throttle Body on the 3800 Series II motor.
The only sensor is the IAT on the tube.
