cold air for a 96

RE: cold air for a 96
When I had my 96 z34 I found an intake called KoolBlue but it cost me about $200. It was easy to install, I just had to take out the factory air box for it to fit. Then the tube for it went down to draw air from behind the headlight. Now I have a 98 z34 and I found an intake for it on ebay for about $30. This one also had the cone shaped filter and draws from behind the headlight. You should probably look on ebay for a cheap one, but then again you could make your own if you have the appropriate tools. Hope this helped!

well i wouldnt recomend ebay. too many people looking to rip you off. got to my www http://www.cardomain.com/ride/473859 i have writeups on pg 6.
your best bet would be to build your own with ideas from mine and other's that have built intakes. that is how i started... just downloaded tons of pics from forums and cardomain sites... and set out to build my own.
