Default Camaro/Trans Am exhaust for my Monte...

Well laying under my car yesterday thinking of all the ways I've seen exhaust ran. Well this idea is from the newer Camaros and Trans Ams. Well after the headers drop it into a 3" downpipe, straight through the Dynomax Bullet Resonator/Muffler out to the rear end of the car (pretty normal till here), then cut the spare tire holder in the trunk out and weld in a piece of sheet metal, replace the cover and it looks normal from the trunk's point of view. (Cutting out the spare tire, some people might not like that idea, but for me I ride on 20's and theres no way I am riding 3 20's and a donut, aint happening, lol) But underneath the car this modification allows you to run a single inlet/ dual outlet. Like this one [IMG][/IMG]. Its an Edelbrock SDT Muffler, 3" single inlet, dual 2.5" outlet on opposing sides. Then out the back into some 3" tips. Your thoughts on this setup....?

Well for me I think it would be one of the most one off exhaust setup on any MC I've ever seen. And for me I love toying with my car and coming up with new ideas. Everybody (A) Either buys a Brand name exhaust setup, or (B) makes there own version of the kit you could of bought, and thats not my style. Personal pref I guess...

i like the idea it is simple yet i think it will look good... im not a big fan of cuting your tire well out. but hey its your car. yeah it wouldnt work all the well with 20's and a spare, but 3 20's and one 20" rim destroyed from driving on the rim? i'll take the donut. you should be able to squeeze the muffler in without hacking up the car.

Sounds like a great one-off setup to try. Very original.
