i was wondering if it was possible to drop a 1994 350 LT1 Motor and Trans out of a 1994 Camaro into a 1981 Monte. i have a stock 305 in the Monte but want to upgrade to a 350 and make it fuel injected. i ran across this motor and trans but dont know if i should purchase it. also if anyone knows of a reliable place that can do it in the chicagoland are please let me know. i dont want to take it to any place that just wants to experiment.

yes it can be done
make sure you check the ride height when yor done for the proper height. if your front end is weak then redo it.
the 305 and any other v-8 small block are all teh same size and have the same mounting in them, so you can even put a 400 sm. block in it if ya want to .
the tranny you might have to change the cross memer to a after market version or somethign but it should work .
