Bolt on resonator?? Other MODS?
Gentlemen,
I must say, I truly do not like seeing this kind of thing happen on my dearest MCF. Bigg J...big props to you for doing what you can to make this situation come to a head. Rcohen, I appreciate you taking the time to learn a little about our members before making too many assumptions. Phoenix, your knowledge does not go un-appreciated, thanks for the help.
Members:
This kind of behavior will not be tolerated here on Monte Carlo Forum, let this serve as an example of exactly what NOT to let happen. RCohen, let this also serve as your warning, if I see or am told of anything else like the above, I will not hesitate to remove your account and ban you from MCF. Like Bigg J said, we are all family here and family feuds are not something we enjoy. Our mission here at MCF is to serve as a means of communications for Monte owners to interact with other Monte owners, and most importantly, as a tool for members and guests alike to utilize for information on their Monte, regardless of what generation it may be. The active members on this forum are genuine, most are very knowledgeable on the Monte Carlo, and those who aren't do not pretend to be. The point I am trying to get to here is that if someone gives you some information you requested, he did so because he knows what he is talking about.
Now that we have this situation under control, let's all get back to talking about one thing we all know we have in common, Monte Carlos.

Well said.
Mr. Rcohen, welcome to the Official Unofficial Monte Carlo Forum. We hope to consider you family and you consider us family.
Just a suggestion, but I think Phoenix deserves an apology (if you haven't already taken care of that through Private Messaging, that is) and we can all be friends again.
No grudges, eh?

yeah, didn't u read anything that was posted? Have to instigate? I showed my buddies that I was smoking hookah with the posts, just to see if I was crazy or that they really were misleading. Thanks for reading properly.
It's a joke much like the oil filter delete to help oil flow restrictions and is meant to help bring this back onto topic.
So if we back this up, the best thing you can do is repace the down pipe section: this is a single section of pipe that connects includes the catalytic converter and the ubend. Here is an example of what it looks like: 3" downpipe
The downpipe portion that seems to draw some confusion is the S shape toward the right of this picture.
Good luck with your modifications.

thats what i was trying to say in previous posts.
i was going to get a new down pipe and cat. but first went to a local shop and it turns out my Z came with a 2.5" down pipe factory and it wasnt half bad! so i just needed the cat and the rest of the system. i love my exhaust! if i ever do another car the system will be very close to this one.... unless i go V8 and then thats a diff beast.
