any recommends on an exhaust with nice hp and clean sound

i have the 02 3.8 ss
i noticed my exhaust needs to be replaced so i want to put one that will sound nice and give me some hp..lord knows she needs some...
i dont want it loud but i want that nice sound like the stock mustang gt after its broken in lol
too bad shes not a rear wheel v8 btw.. sux
*looking for nice sound
*some hp gain
*nothing too loud so when im in the car i have to raise the music vol or talk louder

You won't gain ANY HP from a cat-back system.

They will never sound like a V8

The only option I usually told people is now discontinued.

Probably best off going to an exhaust shop and having them put on magnaflows

I just had a Borla cat-back exhaust system installed. Its not very loud and sounds pretty good for a V6. Just like ChibiBlackSheep has said, it will not sound like a V8.

Someone was selling a GMPP exhaust system on the for sale section of this forum recently but I don't know if its still available. Its the one ChibiBlackSheep usually recommends.
